The dovetail mounting plates allow for connecting telescope optical tubes to equatorial mounts; it is also compatible with finderscopes, finderscope anchor ears, and equatorial instruments. Made of extruded, anodized aluminum, the dovetail plates use an all-metal aluminum alloy to ensure lightweight, high-strength support. The aluminum anodized surface treatment provides corrosion and abrasion-resistant operation for years. The 210mm dual dovetail nodal slide vertical rail allows for mounting equipment precisely where needed. In addition to the standard screw thread, threaded holes are included for connecting other accessories, allowing for quick switching between tripod and other usage scenarios. The installation method involves bolting tube rings (sold separately) onto the dovetail plate, which then fits into the dovetail slot (sold separately) on the equatorial head.
